The Catskill region is open to environmentally sound and sustainable economic development. Currently the region’s manufacturing clusters include; pharmaceutical, solar energy, metal fabrication, dairy food processing, mdf board, bluestone, wood products, and electronics to name just a few. The region is looking to expand and supplement these clusters with value added wood and food products manufacturers, technology based industries, destination, eco tourism and outdoor recreation opportunities and Main street re-development.

What better place to manufacture or operate a service business than in a region known for its’ care of the environment and the source of water for 9 million people that is so pure that the Environmental Protection Agency allows it to be unfiltered?
