Education
The six county area of the Catskill region offers outstanding educational opportunities from elementary school all the way up to advanced degree colleges. The mostly rural nature of the area lends itself to small centralized schools that pride themselves on being able to deliver a quality education to each individual student.
Each county has several elementary, middle, and high schools. Local school districts also enjoy the benefits of partnering with a local Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES) which are regional organizations that provide shared services, programs, and training to enhance the learning environment for districts.
